Sally Falkinburg, 83, passed away on July 21, 2022, in Cape Coral, Fla.

Sally was born in Warren, Pa., on April 29, 1939, to Raymond Slate and Anna Gray where she lived until moving to SW Florida in 1989.

finally Winnebago. Several years found the family at Penn Highlands’ campground for the full summer with Fred commuting to work from there.

Upon relocating to Florida, she started a career in her second love, the outdoors. She became a park ranger for the state of Florida and for many years lived on a Cayo Costa State Park located on a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico with few residents other than the local wildlife.

Sally was a homebody but when her family convinced her to travel, she embraced all it had to offer and did rafting in Alaska, ziplining in Jamaica, cave tubing in Belize and many outings from the various Caribbean cruises the family enjoyed.
