Kathleen “Kathy” Wilcox
Kathleen “Kathy” Wilcox
Kathleen “Kathy” Wilcox, 67, of Sugar Grove, died Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Saint Vincent Health Center.
She was born on April 23, 1955, in Warren, and was the oldest child of Veto Greto and Patricia (Reilley) Greto. Kathy married her love, Eric Wilcox on April 18, 1987. They were married for 35 years.
Kathy attended Warren County Technical School and earned her diploma in licensed practical nursing. Over the years, she was employed as an LPN at The Rouse Home, and as a hospice nurse at Hospice of Warren Country.
Kathy was a natural caregiver and nurse, and was much loved by the people she cared for and her co-workers.
She had a great smile, infectious laugh and was a wonderful listener. Her greatest joy in life was to spend time talking with her friends and family. Kathy and her husband, Eric loved to play jeopardy together every night and they would tally up their scores. She loved to knit and made Christmas stockings for many of the children in her family. Kathy was a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sister program and has had a relationship with her “little sister” for two decades.
Still here, cherishing the memories of Kathy are her husband, Eric Wilcox and her beloved baby Schnauzers: Heide and Sadie, at home. Also her daughter, Chris Cywinski of Derby, N.Y.; daughter-in-law, Sue Cywinski of Tonawanda, N.Y.; her grandson, Kyle (Madison) Repine of Midway, Pa.; her grand-daughters: Jadyn and Amalia Cywinski Wilcox of Derby, N,Y; her sisters: Ruthie (David) Dennis of North East, Pa., Karen (Tom Firth) Greto of Lander, Pa.; her sisters-in-law: Lori Greto of Kane, Pa., and Jackie Greto of Sheffield, Pa.; her brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Donna Wilcox of Youngsville, Pa.; and her special “little sister” Sarah Edwards of San Antonio, Texa. Also touched by the life and love of Kathy are her many nieces and nephews, and one great-nephew on the way; and her special friends and cousins (you know who you are).
Kathy was reunited with her Gram, Ruth Reilley, her parents, Veto and Patty Greto, her son, Daniel Allen Repine, and her brothers: Michael and John Greto.
Arrangements are private. Donations in Kathy’s memory may be made to Hospice of Warren County (hospiceofwarren county.org) 1 Main Ave, Warren, PA 16365 or Because You Care, Inc. animal shelter (because youcare.org) at 6041 West Rd, McKean, PA 16426
Kathy was a light in this world. Honor her by spreading this light into the lives of others.
“See you later, Kathy.”
