Naomi Foust, 83, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 18, at her home in Erie Pa.
She was born and raised in Myerstown, Pa., and was a 1960 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University.
She and her late husband L. Thomas Foust, raised their three children in Warren, Pa., before moving to Erie in 1986.
Naomi worked at Shriner’s Hospital and as a long term resident of Erie, she was active in the Woman’s Club, Garden Club, Wayside Presbyterian Church, and several volunteer organizations.
She loved to watch Penn State football games, regularly workout at the gym, and travel throughout the world including all 50 states and over 30 countries. Naomi loved life and lived it to the fullest.
She is survived by her three children: daughter, Susan Stec (Richard) of Chantilly, Va., son, Thomas Foust (Cheryl) of Evergreen, Colo., and daughter Sandra Campbell (Jeffrey) of Hillsboro, Ohio. She was a grandmother to seven grandchildren: Jacquie (Adam) Rich, Matthew Foust, Jeffrey Silka, Lindsey Foust, Nathan Stec, Cassie Campbell and Rachel Stec; and two great- grandchildren; aunt of several nieces and nephews; and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Thomas Foust; her parents, Roy Ew-ing and Ethel Parker Ewing; and her brother, Leroy Ewing.
Friends may call on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Wayside Presbyterian Church, 1208 Asbury Road, Erie, PA 16505, from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at noon, with Dr. James Bernhard will be officiating.
