Olga H. Falconer

She was born in Warren, Pa., on Oct. 26, 1925, to the late Carl Uhlig and Elsie Gartner Uhlig. She married Robert Falconer on Sept. 27, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1995.

Olga and her husband raised their family in Warren County and moved to the Erie area 19 years. She spent her years raising her six children and making a home for her family, and she was always happiest when she was around all of her grandchildren.

Olga worked for a time at Sylvania in Warren, and also at Blair Corporation in Youngsville.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Keith Falconer; three brothers: Carl, Herman and Art Uhlig; and one sister, Eileen Anderson.

She is mourned by her surviving family, including five children: Alan Falconer and his wife. Patricia of Sugar Grove, Diane Matie and her husband, Paul of South Carolina, Gene Falconer and his wife, Marlene of Youngsville, Susan Kaufman and her husband, Fred of Erie, and Denny Falconer and his wife, Ginny of Warren; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildrren; and two sisters: Betty Bednar and Linda Matie.

Van Matre Funeral Home in Waterford is in charge of arrangements.
