Mary Jane Carling

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harold “Whitey” Carling; her sister, Ann Bruto; brothers: Samuel and Angelo Regina,

Survived by her daughter, Adrienne Carlson of Tucson; son, Lawrence Zobrest of N.C.; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Warren High School in 1946 and from Jamestown Community College with her degree in nursing. She worked as an register nurse for the American Red Cross, both in Jamestown and Tucson, until she retired at the age of 82. She was honored by being voted one of the top nurses in Tucson in 2008.

A memorial will be scheduled for a later date. Donations can be made in her name to the American Red Cross.
