Roberta Mae (Bisbee) Adams

She was born on March 21, 1935, in Erie, Pa., the daughter of the late Robert J. and Dorothy Helena (Bray) Bisbee.

She was a graduate of Ripley Central High School and was formerly employed by the State of New York as a toll collector.

She was a member of the North East Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Roberta enjoyed flowers, gardening, birds, nature, and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dallas M. Adams Sr.; grandson, Ryan Shampoe; and brother, Allen Bisbee.

Roberta is survived by her children: Laurel Adams of Ripley, Connie Adams Mattson (Norman) of Sicily, Matthew Adams (Terry) of North East, Marjorie Davis (Tom) of Bemus Point, Mark Adams of Dallas, Texas, Michael Adams (Kimberly) of North East, Peter Adams of North East, Jennifer Wilkinson (Steven) of Ripley, Dallas Adams Jr. (Chris) of Portland, N.Y., and Johnathan Adams of Erie; grandchildren: “Bear” Shampoe, Sydney Dickerson, Cody Adams, Zachary Adams, Jeanie Davis, Andrew Adams, Emily Lowery, Christopher Adams, Nathanial Adams, Benjamin Adams, Samantha Wyland, Branan Britt and Catherine Britt; great-grandchildren: Jade, Lilith, Charles, Lillian, Titus, Esther, Simon, and Lukas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 81 E. Main St., North East, on Thursday from 5 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 6 p.m. Officiating the service is the Rev. Marvin Hutchison.

Private interment will be held at Quincy Cemetery.
