Shawnie Lynn (Burris) Siliano

She was born on Jan. 7, 1959, in Warren, a daughter to the late Edgar and Val Jean (Shaw) Burris Sr. She worked for many years as the department manager of Kmart and was very proud to have a degree in ministry. Shawnie was a devout Christian and her love of God and family came before anything.

She is survived by her son, Tony (Patti) Punch, of Sugar Grove; her grandchildren, Carson, Jasmine, Jenna, Remington and Lincoln Punch, Ashleigh Jewell, MacKenzie and Damon Gordon; her siblings: Edgar (Nancy) Burris, Robert (Mary Jane) Burris and De-anna (John) Hollabaugh, all of Tidioute, Donna (Kenny) Fiscus of Warren, and Curtis (Lynn) Towne of Limestone, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews; her best friend, Lori Atwell; and her beloved cat, Miss Kitty.

In addition to her parents, Shawnie was preceded in death by her step mother, Patricia Burris; a grandson, Nathan Punch; a brother, Dennis Lee Burris; a nephew and niece, Charlie (Melony) Burris; her paternal grandparents, Leslie and Dorothy Burris and her maternal grandparents, Beecher and Flora (Poe) Shaw.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Youngsville, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
