Marian Lucille (Peterson) Davis

Marian Lucille (Peterson) Davis

Marian Lucille (Peterson) Davis, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at Warren Manor where she had resided for the past year.

Marian was born Dec. 5, 1926 in Kane, Pa., along with her twin sister, Jennie, to the late John and Nellie (Peterson) Peterson. She married the late Jerome Kenneth Davis, April 2, 1948, in Kane, Pa., and then moved to Warren, Pa.

She retired from the former New Process Company, where she worked for several years. She enjoyed family time playing games, especially various card games (she was sometimes quite ruthless while play-ing)! She also enjoyed watching movies, attending events at the Struthers Li-brary Theatre, and attend-ing her

great granddaughter’s activities.

Marian was a committed member of the Church of Christ and spent many hours there doing Bible correspondence teaching and volunteering wherever she could. She especially appreciated the fellowship of her brothers and sisters in Christ at the church. Marian loved sending greeting cards for any occasion, and a favorite gift for her to receive was a book of stamps. During her time at Warren Manor, she never let us go home without saying, “I love you with all my heart and soul” We know she meant it, and we all loved her too!

Left to celebrate her life and mourn our loss are: her children: Norman (Carol) Davis of New Port Richey, Fla., Kenneth Davis of Warren, and Kathy (David) Wiedmaier of Warren; her grandchildren: Carie (Todd) Ristau, Casey Wiedmaier, Toby Davis, and Tammy (Dustin) Lauger; and her great grandchildren: Brionna Childs (fiance, Noah Colvin), Aliyah and Westin Wiedmaier, Jason Lester and Taige Davis, and Mason and Hayden Lauger.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marian was preceded in death by her siblings: Carl, Hank, Arnold, Myrtle, Martin, Paul, Ervin, Chester and her twin sister Jennie.

Friends and family may call at The Peterson Blick Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021 from 11 a.m. to noon at which time a memorial service will be celebrated by Randy Matheny, former minister of the Warren Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Marian’s memory to the Church of Christ, 2194 Scandia Road, Warren, PA 16365, or to a charity of your choice.
