Brenda Rose Weldon

Brenda Rose Weldon,

81, of Youngsville, passed

away on Sept. 17, after a

brief battle with Covid.

Brenda is survived by

her forever fiance, Tom

Brown; her three daughters:

Cheryl (Paul) Occhuizzo of

Warren, Pa., Bonnie (John)

Mayes of Erie, Pa., and

Jennifer (Chrissy Allen)

Fitzgerald of Lampasas,

Texas; her four sisters: Ila

Wilson, Warren, Pa.., Jeri-

lynn Goodman, Emlenton,

Pa., (State Rep.) Kathy

Rapp, Warren, Pa., and

Penny Vermilya, Warren,

Pa.; grandchildren; Chel-

sea, Cody and Adam (Jack-

man), and Ethan Mayes;

great-grandchildren: Tay-

ton, Zerick and Zayla

(Jackman) and Finn (Jack-

man); and several cousins

nieces and nephews, and

many friends.

In addition to her

parents, Brenda was pro-

ceeded in death by a

nephew, Billy Wilson;

brother, William (Bill) Wil-

son; previous husban,d

Wayne (Curley) Weldon;

and previous husband,

Wayne Wagner.

Brenda was born in

Franklin, Pa., to William

and Elva Wilson on March

13, 1940. She moved to

the Youngsville area in the

early 1960s. She was a

teacher for the Warren

County School District for

nearly 30 years. She loved

building relationships with

her students and coworkers.

She was an active member

of the community,

president of The Pre-school

Mother’s Club, a member

of Eastern Star, and a Girl

Scout leader. She spent

nearly 40 years “up on the

hill”, she loved nature, gar-

dening, and especially bird

watching. People who were

lucky enough to know her

enjoyed her great sense of

humor, her tenacity and her

compassionate heart.

In her retirement years,

she enjoyed working the

polls at election time,

camping, the casino, and

relaxing with a glass of

wine.

A celebration of life ser-

vice will be held in person

for family only, (due to the

increase in Covid numbers

in our area) on Wednesday,

Sept. 22n, at 11a.m. If

family requests that you
