Jeffrey A. Confer

Jeff was born on July 31, 1957, in Warren, to Richard L. and Barbara R. Confer.

Jeff proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy as an aviation electronics technician stationed in Alaska, Japan, and California, and was a lifetime member of AMVETS Post 50. He re-tired from the National Forge after 22 years as a CNC lathe operator. He loved rock-n-roll music, 4-wheeling with friends, wood walks with his dogs, and hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Confer, two sisters: Debbie (Denny) Groves of Stoneham and Lori Brown of Austin, Tex-as; his nephews: Ryan, Tyler and James,; his niece, Alyssa, as well as many great-nephews and great- nieces; his father, Richard Confer and his father -in-law, David Martin of Edinburg Texas.

He was predeceased by his mother Barbara Confer; his mother-in-law, Mary Martin; and brother-in-law, Douglas Martin.

A gathering to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
