Gerald C. Hammerbeck,

67, of Warren Pa., died

unexpectedly at his home

Thursday evening, July 22,

2021.

Born Oct. 14, 1953, in

Warren, to the late Jack

and Peggy J. Hammerbeck.

He was a lifelong resident

of Warren.

Following his 1971 gra-

duation from Warren High

School, he served in the

U.S. Navy as petty officer

second class. Garry had

been employed as a press

operator with Betts Indus-

tries retiring after 33 years.

He enjoyed the outdoors

and was an avid trout fish-

erman. He also enjoyed

spending time with his fam-

ily, playing chess, and was

a diehard Pittsburgh

Steelers Fan. He is remem-

bered as a man with a great

sense of humor who always

helped others.

He is survived by his

three children: Shelly L.

Roberts and her husband,

Ray of Burgettstown, Pa.,

Donna M. Palumbo and her

husband, Chris of Sanford,

N.C., and Troy W. Ham-

merbeck of Evans City, Pa.

Also six grandchildren; and

nieces and nephews.; and

three sisters: Jackie John-

son of Warren, Christy Lee

Vettenberg of Jeanette, Pa.,

and Lori A. Corey and her

husband, Bill of Warren.

Gerald is preceded in

death by his first wife, Beth

A. Marquis,;his father, Jack

G. Hammerbeck; his moth-

er, Peggy J. Hammerbeck;

and a brother, William

Hammerbeck.

The family will have a

small service for family and

close friends at the Donald

E. Lewis Funeral Home,

Inc. 304 East St., Warren,

Pa., with the Rev. William

R. Beatty, pastor of Grace

United Methodist Church,

officiating. Interment will

be in Warren County

Memorial Park.
