Bonni L. Burke

She was born Nov. 9, 1965, in Erie, Pa., a daughter to the late David A. and Carol (Mecklen) Moorhead.

Bonni worked for the Erie VA Medical Center as a dental hygienist for 15 years and was previously a baptized member of Elevate Church in Erie, Pa.

She loved horses and horseback riding and took great joy in caring for her property and home. Most of all, Bonni was a proud, loving mother of her son.

She is survived by her son, Alex Burke of Wattsburg, Pa; her siblings: Leland (Julie) Moorhead of Vermont, Holli Moorhead of Russell, Pa., and Melody Evans of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 20, at the Greenfield Baptist Church, 9028 Williams Road, North East, PA 16428, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Dan Cass, pastor, officiating. A reception of family and friends will be held following the service.
