Kay M. Buerkle

Kay was born April 9, 1942, in Warren, the daughter of the late Albert K. and Adah McIntosh Sidon.

Kay was a lifelong resident of Starbrick, and a graduate of the Warren High School. She was em-ployed with Thomas Coupling-Rexnord for a number of years and later worked at the Blair Corp., from which she retired. She was a member of the Star-brick Community Church.

Kay will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend to many. She loved her family and especially her grand- children and all of their ac-tivities.

She is survived by two children: Jodi Gozzard and her husband, Daniel of Allison Park, Pa/, and Scott Buerkle and his wife. Jean of Warren; four grand- chil-dren: Zakary Buerkle, Ab-bie Buerkle, Tyler Gozzard, and Katie Gozzard; a sister, Nancy Berdine and hus-band, John of Warren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death on March 3, 2014, by her husband, Dennis A. Buerkle, whom she married on July 17, 1965; and a brother, Dennis Sidon.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Fun-eral Home on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, from 10 a.m. until noon, at which time a memorial service will be held at the funeral home, with Peggy Tecon-chuk, officiating.
