Sarah Anna Conklin

She was born Jan. 29, 1946, in Pittsfield, Pa., a daughter to the late Willis and Ida (Anderson) Wentworth. Sarah was a graduate of Youngsville High School and retired after 30 years of working at the Plaza Restaurant in Warren. She attended the Full Gospel Church of Warren and liked to play the piano and accordion. Sarah enjoyed visiting friends, riding bikes and playing checkers.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Conklin Sr., whom she married on July 23, 2016; her sister, Doris Brown, of Saginaw, Mich.; two brothers: George Wentworth of Warren and Carl (Rebecca) Wentworth of Russell; her stepchildren, Kenneth Conklin Jr. of Tidioute, Cathy (Stephen) Rafalski of Grand Valley, Karen Bullock of Jamestown, N.Y., Tina (John) Williams of Tidioute, Floyd (Ashley) Atkins of Weldbank, Pa.; and several grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her sisters: Charlotte Storer Akers, Clara Mae Wentworth and Wilma Wentworth.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, May 17, at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St., Youngsville, PA 16371 from 4-6 p.m., and also on Tuesday, May 18, from 10-11 a.m., at which time a funeral service will be held there with the Rev. Loretta Knapp, pastor of the Full Gospel Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Pittsfield.
