Margaret M. “Peg” Wilbur

Margaret was born July 23, 1929 in Warren, the daughter of the late Leeland and Mary Spillane Shorts.

A lifelong Warren resident, Margaret was employed in the bakery at Quality Market, from which she retired. She enjoyed television, CB radios, and especially enjoyed her family and her many grandchildren. Her CB handle was Daisy Mae.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Patrick) Hanes of Johnsonburg, Pa.; grandchildren: James Roberts Jr. of Warren, Pa., Tina L. Roberts of Mt. Jewett, Pa.; and many other grand and great- grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Wilbur in 1974.; and her brother, Leeland M. Shorts Jr.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 12, 2021 from 10 a.m.- noon, at the Peterson – Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna Ave E. Warren, Pa., A service will be held at the funeral home, with the Rev. Marty Reynolds, pastor, Clarendon United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
