Angeline C. Stenstrom

Angeline C. Stenstrom, 97, passed away Thursday (May 27, 2021) in her son’s, George Stentrom’s home surrounded by her family.

A lifelong area resident, she was born June 15, 1923, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Caprino Todaro.

Angeline attended Jamestown High School and in earlier years was employed by National Worsted Mills and American Furniture. For most of her life she was a dedicated homemaker.

She enjoyed her family, grandchildren, great-grand children and taking walks.

Surviving is her daughter Cheryl (James) Boyer of Sigel, Pa.; two sons: Stephen (Mary) Stenstrom and George (Bridgette) Stenstrom, all of Falconer; eight grandchildren: Carol (Todd) Ramsden, David Boyer, Michael (Jennifer) Boyer, Daniel Boyer, James (Pamela) Boyer Jr., Paul (Jeff) Chadwick, Nora Becker (Brent), Joshua (Christian) Stenstrom; four step randchildren: Brandy Golden, Natasha Sundquist, Morris Forbs and Angela Oakes; 10 great-grandchildren; 12 stepgreat- grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren L. “Ben” Stenstrom, whom she married July 10, 1943, who died April 5, 1999; a son, Warren L. Stenstrom Jr. in 1951; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Chadwick; two brothers and five sisters.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Ritchie Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Memorials may be donated to the American Heart Association or Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care.
