Donald McNeal
Donald L. McNeal, 81, of Warren, PA., died Wednesday morning, March 31, 2021, at Warren General Hospital, Warren, PA. after an extended ill-ness. He was born October 22, 1939, in Lewistown, PA. He was the son of Royer Corbin and Ethel Marie Hoffman McNeal. Don was a Warren area resident since 1974 and a 1957 graduate of Lewis-town High School. He was employed with Standard Steel of Lewistown, PA. for 11 years, then moved to Warren, PA, working at the former National Forge Company as manager of New Product Department for 28 years. He owned and operated Servtech Consulting for 11 years, retiring in 2012. Don was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and enjoyed canoeing.
He is survived by his children – James G. Hovey of Warren, PA., Bethany A. Hovey Hosick of New Castle, KY., Matthew C. Hovey and wife, Danica, Vanessa J. McNeal all of Warren, PA., Mark Todd McNeal, Stephanie Ann McNeal, 4 Grandchildren – Garrett R. and Dawson C. Hosick, Sarah J. Hovey, Christian McNeal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Kathleen J. Burton McNeal whom he married October 20, 1978 in Youngsville, PA., who died September 19, 2019, 1 Brother – Gary Lee McNeal and his wife, Patricia Ann McNeal
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. when a funeral and committal service will be conducted by Rev. Marcus Briggs, Retired Minister, officiating. CDC requirements of masks and social distancing will be observed. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park, Warren, PA.
