Dennis L. Carr
Dennis L. Carr, 80, of Altoona, died peacefully on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the Altoona Center for Nursing after a lengthy illness. He was born in Youngsville, Pa., the son of the late John and Anne (Lawson) Carr. Surviving are wife Gloria, daughter Gretchen (Carr) Henderson of Front Royal Virginia, and son John Carr of Bell-wood, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Carr was a 1958 graduate of Youngsville High School and veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from the National Forge of Irvine, PA after 35 years of employment.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at the First United Methodist Church in Youngsville, Pa., on May 15 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
