Mildred M. Osgood

Mildred M. Osgood, 84, formerly of 8 Burnside Avenue, passed away Mon-day, March 1, 2021 at Bradford Manor.

Born on Sept. 6, 1936, in Obi, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Marion (Childs) Taylor. She was a 1955 graduate of Smethport High School.

On May 21, 1955 in Geneseo, N.Y., she married Glenn A. Osgood who preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 2020.

Mildred was proud to be a stay-at-home mom, and for many years was a sales representative for Avon. She enjoyed working in her yard, especially her flower beds.

Surviving are three daughters, Deborah (Gary) McLaughlin, of Lewis Run, Jeanne (Don) Straight, of Suger Grove, and, Sherry (Paul) Rodgers, of Brad-ford, one son, Bruce (Jennifer) Osgood, of Sicklerville, N.J., 15 grandchildren, Jessica Raught, Jason Tingley, Christopher Tingley, Stacy Piatko, Jill Mar-tin, Robert Pessia, Stephen Wolfer, Shannon Wolfer, Alecia Straight, Devon Os-good, Emily Osgood, Curtis Rodgers, Katelynn Rodgers, Sydney Rodgers, Lacey Rodgers, 20 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Mary Feaster, Friendship, N.Y., Margaret Ramer, of Watsonville, C.A., and Marcia Schrougham, of Bloomington, I.N., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glenn of 65 years, one daughter, Brenda Raught, one great-granddaughter, Christina Pessia, one great-grandson, Jason Pessia.

Friends are invited to livestream the funeral service on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joann Piatko, Pastor of St. Joseph Episcopal Church in Port Allegany, officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
