Donald L. Card

He married Betty J. Card in 1977. She preceded him in death on Jan 15, 2007. They were married 30 years. Don owned and operated Don Card’s Dock and Lawn Service for 32 years and was also a self-employed logger. When Don was younger, he loved to play softball, ride motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and spending time in the woods. He was a member of the Warren County ABATE motorcycle organization, the Llama Club, the Sugar Grove American Legion, the Lakewood Volunteer Fire Department, and the Panama Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are a daughter, Donette (Mitchell Durnell) Bennink of James-town, N.Y.; a son, Donald (Debbie) Woodworth, Panama, N.Y.; a sister, Diann Wirth, Glenndale, CA; 4 grandchildren, Taylor, Matthew, and Alexander Bennink and Trevor Frederick; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by a son, Terry A. Card and a brother, Stanley Card.

Friends will be received at the Sugar Grove Branch of McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc., 117 Main Street, Sugar Grove on Fri-day, March 12, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. and also on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. where a memorial service will fol-low at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Carne officiating.
