Veronica “Vonnie” Harkins Battko

Vonnie was born Nov. 6, 1970, in Warren to Gloria Harkins Van Epps, who survives her of Pittsfield. Vonnie enjoyed all kinds of crafts, including painting and crocheting. She also enjoyed spending time out-side working in her flower beds and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing darts and was a member of the Fairmont Hotel dart league.

In addition to her mother, Vonnie is survived by her husband Christopher Battko, her children, Jamie (Tim) Bhe of Tidioute, Amanda (Blake) Goldner, Ginger Johnson and Heather Battko all of Pittsfield, a brother Michael Ernest of Greenville, Illinois, and her grandchildren, Aiden Snyder, Brian Battko, Leland Bryan, Adam Johnson, Hunter Bryan and Shelby Bhe.

Vonnie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Evelyn Harkins, her step-father Nor-man Van Epps, an infant child, and her brother, Charles “Willy” Ernest.

A memorial service will be held at a later date that will be announced by the family.
