Roger A. Siggins

Roger A. Siggins, 83, of Warren, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 2021 at the Warren Manor.

Roger was born Aug. 23, 1937, to the late Robert and Magdalene Lawson Siggins. Roger attended Warren Area High School. His first job was a meat cutter at the Nation Wide store at the corner of Fifth Avenue and East Street. He went on to driving truck for Inter Electric Corp, and then was employed by the National Forge from 1965 to 1970. Roger then be-came a City of Warren Firefighter until his retirement in January 1996. While employed at the fire department he became a mechanic, a Lieutenant and an EMT. His retirement jobs included Red Oak Campground and the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home.

Roger was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Le-gion Post 135, He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and motorcycle riding. He also enjoyed woods riding on his four-wheeler. He spent hours in his workshop, where he created projects for his friends and family. Roger had many friends and loved being with his family, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Roger is survived by his wife, Nancy Lowe Siggins, whom he married on November 14, 1970. They have one daughter, Tracey Westmoreland and her hus-band Brandon, of Mans-field, T.X.

The Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc. has been en-trusted with arrangements. Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
