Dorothy M. Barstow
Dorothy M. Barstow, 88, of Cicero, N.Y., formerly of Frewsburg, N.Y. passed away on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021 at her residence, The Cottages at Garden Grove. She was born on Jan. 22, 1933 in Warren, P.A. to Jennie Carlson Anderson and Victor Anderson. She graduated from Warren Area High School in Warren, P.A. in 1951.
She married Harley R. Barstow on July 3, 1954 in Warren, P.A. She lived most of her life in Frewsburg and moved to the Syracuse area after the death of her husband to be closer to her family.
She is survived by son Rick, daughter-in-law Jacqueline, and grandchildren Zachary and Madeleine, all of Camillus, N.Y.
She is predeceased by her parents, husband Harley, and brothers: Grant Anderson and Raymond Anderson.
Dorothy enjoyed music, singing, baking, and spending time with her family. She was especially proud of her grandchildren, Zachary and Madeleine.
Calling hours will be held at Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg, N.Y. from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021. A short service will be held immediately following the calling hours. A private burial will be held following the service at Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg, N.Y.
