David G. Whiteman

David G. Whiteman, 61, of Warren, Pa., passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital after a courageous five week battle with complications from the covid-19 virus.

He was born Aug. 21, 1959, in Jamestown, N.Y., a son to Betty Whiteman Miles who survives him and the late Raymond Miles. Dave was a 1978 class graduate of Youngsville High School. He took tremendous pride in being self-employed as he was the owner/operator of David G. Whiteman Trucking. He truly enjoyed being with his wife and children as well as his loving fur children. Dave liked working on his truck and sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee. He will always be remembered for his huge laugh, love of talking to strangers and his generosity and willingness to drop everything to help others.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Kim (Seeley) Whiteman, whom he married on March 16, 1996, in Sugar Grove, Pa.; his children: Meagan (Joseph) Wade, Joshua (Jackie) Vin-cent and Cathie (Ben) Cummings; seven grand- children: Alexis, Gavin and Aubrie Wade, Peyton Vin-cent, Hunter, Clay and Ava Cummings; his brothers: John (Marci) Miles and Robert (Sherry) Miles; his sisters: Laurie Munn and Cindy Pierce; his sisters- in-law: Penny (Steve) Rex, Tammy Nelson and Lisa (Terry) Barrett; his brothers-in-law: Ron Seeley and his companion, Kim Wood, and Shane (Chris) Seeley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Dave was preceded in death by his maternal grand= parents, Carl and Cecil VanCise; his mother- in-law, Catherine G. Donaldson and mother- in-law and father-in-law, Rodney and Laurel Seeley.

No visitation will be held per Dave’s wishes. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
