Dale “Skip” Weilacher Sr.
Dale “Skip” Weilacher Sr., 74, of Tidioute, Pa., passed on Jan. 11, 2021, with his daughters by his side.
He was born the son of the late Kenneth Weilacher and Eunice Weilacher. His siblings included Donna, Bernice, Daryl, Keith, Rick and Kenny.
He was a proud retiree of the National Forge in Ir-vine. During his long career, he was a hard work-er and very dedicated, which resulted in more responsibility and even traveling to Finland for The Forge.
Skip was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoors-man. He enjoyed family vacations in Canada and taking his family camping on many occasions. He also enjoyed restoring muscle cars from the 1960’s and helping his grandsons with any car repairs they may have been needed. Skip was also a past EMT with the Tidioute Volunteer Fire Dept. for several years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, and his two sons, Dale Weilacher Jr. and Boyd Weilacher.
He is survived by his daughters, Judy (Ted) Brown and Denise (Dave) Craft; his grandchildren: Zacchary Weilacher, Matt Craft, Ryan Craft, Hannah Fedele and Brandeis Weilacher and his six great–grandchildren.
A private memorial will be held by his family.
