Cheryl Lynn Hardy
BEAR LAKE — Cheryl L.Hardy, 65, died of health issues on Jan. 7, 2021, at UPMC Hamot hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1955, in San Diego, Calif., the daughter of Robert L and Carol (Crosby) Burch.
Cheryl graduated from Eisenhower Middle-High School, class of 1973.
Following graduation, she married William Newark Jr., having two children, divorced William in 1978 and remarried in 1981 to Ronald Hardy, having one child together and celebrating 39 years of marriage.
She worked as a nursing aide at Fenton Park, James-town, N.Y. and Warren Manor, Warren, Pa., for most of her time, until retir-ing in 2005. She started working part-time through Senior Helpers home health care in 2017.
She was a christain of God, attending Bear Lake Methodist Church and then The Church of Bear Lake. She enjoyed life by spend-ing it with family and friends. A very outgoing, funny, loving and caring woman, she enjoyed doing more for others more than herself.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two grandchildren, Shannon and Tierra.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Ronald Har-dy; two sons: Derick Hardy of Las Vegas, Nevada, Robert Newark and partner, Kathy of Corry, Pa.; two daughters, Tina Skinner and husband, Kent, of Bear Lake, Pa., and Jennifer Har-dy of Columbus, Pa.; three sisters: Pat Ross and hus-band, Dave of Corry, Pa., Diana Reaugh of Chandlers Valley, Pa., Sharon Burch of Bear Lake, Pa.; a broth-er, Jeffrey Burch and wife, Carla of Corry, Pa.; many grandchildren, great-gran-dchildren, neices and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
All memorial donations can be made to the Bear Lake Fire Hall.
