Veronica Pace

Veronica Pace, 90, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., passed away peacefully Oct. 30, 2020.

Veronica, fondly known as Bonnie, was born in Lucinda, Pa. She owned and operated Pace’s Pizzeria in Warren, Pa,, with her loving husband, Fernando, for 27 years.

In 1973, she moved to Florida with her family, where she owned several establishments in the Fort Lauderdale area. If you would ask her what her lifetime career was, she would say, raising and loving my family. Her nurturing ways will always be remembered by her entire family as she was a positive influence to all. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church in Hollywood, Florida and Holy Redeemer Church in Palm City, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years; Fernando “Fred” Pace; her parents, Casimir and Kathleen (Dailey) Schmader; a son, Freddie Pace Jr.; nephew; Brian Tidwell; and sister-in-law Joan Brown Pace.

She is survived by daughters: Linda Allen and her husband, Jim; Louise Crocitto, and her husband, Peter Jr.; son, Daniel Pace and his wife, Cindy; daughter-in-law, Rita Kobojek Pace; grandchildren: Michael, Katie and Caseylyn Allen, Randy and Amy Pace and wife, Heather Rhoad and Peter Crocitto III; and great-granddaughters: Nina Rita Pace, Desire Pace, Zenayda Pace, and Rei Rhoad; brother-in law, Joseph Pace and wife, Sharon and Dino Pace; and nieces: Michele Pace and Dina Pace.
