Richard G. “Dick” Probst, 92, of Clarendon Heights, Pa., passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2020, at the Warren General Hospi-tal.

Dick was born March 15, 1928, in Warren, the son of the late Arthur R. and Amy Alexander Probst.

In the early years, Dick worked on the family farm, and delivered milk for Walker’s Dairy. In the six-ties, he bought his first log truck, and that was the be-ginning of R.G. Dick was also a veteran of the Korean War. He was a former member of the Lake-wood Rod and Gun Club and the Eagles Club. Dick loved to interact with people and was quite witty. He always had a good joke to tell, and to know him was to like him.

Dick is survived by his wife, Mary Radspinner Probst, whom he married on March 14, 1953; three daughters: Deborah Borst and husband, James of Cher-ry Grove, Dixie Watson and husband, Fred of Warren, and Amy Ei and husband, John of Warren; seven grandchildren: Jennifer Wagner Battisti (Jarret), Jeremy Borst, Jason Borst (Katherine) Dustin Probst, Hannah Probst, Christopher Ei, and Caleb Ei; four great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death on April 3, 2018 by his son, Gustave Probst; and two brothers: Dr. Robert Probst in 2000 and George Probst in 2020.
