G. Joanne Vanderhoof

G. Joanne Vanderhoof, 87, of Pittsfield, Pa., passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2020, at the Warren Manor.

She was born May 28, 1933, in Warren, Pa., a daughter to the late Robert V. Hall and Laura (Kofod) Burlingame.

Joanne worked at Blair as the personnel manager for the mailing department for 39 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Ot-terbein United Methodist Church, the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and the Vik-ings Club. She was also a former member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity and the Eagles Club Auxiliary. Joanne loved her cat, Peaches, col-lecting Santa Clause’s and watching Wheel of Fortune.

She is survived by two daughters: Rebecca Daugharthy of Colonial Heights, Va., and Suanne (Steve) Bundy of Spring Creek, Pa.; 12 grandchil-dren; 15 great-grandchil-dren; two sisters: Patricia (Bob) McKee of Warren, Pa., and Roxanne (Marion) Jaquith of Bear Lake, Pa.; a son-in-law, Darrell Daugharthy of Colonial Heights, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by husband, Guy Van-derhoof Jr., whom she mar-ried Oct. 21, 1949, at Berea Lutheran Church; two sons: Guy Ted Vanderhoof and James Alan Vanderhoof; a granddaughter, Abby Bundy; a brother, Hugh Robert Hall; a sister, Arlabelle Cochran; and a half-brother, Robert Hall.

Family and friends are in-vited to call on Friday, Oc-tober 16, at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 258 Dalrymple St., Pitts-field, PA 16340, from 6-8 p.m. and also on Saturday, from 10-11a.m.., at which time a funeral service with the Rev. Nate Fugate, pas-tor, officiating, will take place. Burial will be in Wrightsville Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Otterbein Un-ited Methodist Church.
