Bart Drake Vanderhoof

Bart was born May 12, 1961 in Roseburg, Ore., the son of the Mark and Sandra Myers Vanderhoof.

He was a 1979 graduate of Umpqua High School in Oregon, and a graduate of the University of North Carolina, with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineer-ing technology. Bart served in the US Navy and worked in many locations and many power plants throughout the country. He was presently employed at the Warren State Hospital as a boiler operator. He will be long remembered as a loving hus-band and father, and friend.

Bart is survived by his wife, Marie Mundy Van-derhoof, whom he married on Nov. 19, 1988; a daughter, Breanna Van-derhoof, at home; a son, Drake Vanderhoof, at home; a brother, Russ Vanderhoof and his wife, Tammy; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Leona Vanderhoof.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020, from 6-8 p.m. Masks must be worn, and social distanc-ing observed.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer So-ciety, 2 Crescent Park, War-ren, PA 16365.
