Theodore “Ted” Rosequist

Theodore “Ted” Rose-quist, 80, of Russell, Pa., passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, while on a holiday weekend with family in the Laurel Highlands, Somerset, Pa.

Ted was born Dec. 21, 1939, in Warren, Pa., the son of the late Harry and Mary Waples Rosequist.

He was a 1957 graduate of Warren High School. Ted worked for many years as the dining manager at the Conewango Valley Country Club, and at the Conewango Men’s Club. He was most recently a car salesman at Jones Chevrolet. Ted was a member of the American Le-gion and the Elks Lodge 223, where he served as the exalted ruler, and district deputy.

He is survived by his wife, Mona B. Yeager Rose-quist, whom he married Sept. 21, 2002; six children, Susan Sveda, Youngsville, Pa., Timmy Rosequist, Youngsville, Pa., Margaret Rosequist, Warren, Pa., Jen-nifer Hannold, Warren, Pa., Amie Markowitz and Will Edwards, Tatamy, Pa., and Kassie Yeager, Pittsburgh, Pa.; 10 grandchildren: Sher-ry, Julia, Kathy, and Andrea, (Susan’s) Mark and Tristan, (Margaret’s) and Rachel and Emma, (Jennifer’s), Trevor and Reed, (Amie’s): two nieces: Becky Hoffmanand Amanda Pyne; one nephew, Eric Rosequist; and his sister-in-law, Helen Rose-quist.

In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Rose-quist; and his brother, Harry Daniel Rosequist.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, on Fri-day, Sept. 11, from 4-7 p.m. Members of the Elks Lodge 223 will hold the memorial ritual at 6:45 p.m. State mandated Covid restriction will be followed, and masks must be worn.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Elks Lodge 223 Cerebral Palsy Fund, 341 Hickory St., Warren, PA 16365
