Lucille M. Lewis

Lucille M. Lewis, 79 of Starbrick, passed away Thursday September 3, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Lucy was born December 16, 1940 in Titusville, a daughter to the late William F. Birchard and Luella M. (Anthony) Birchard Rudolph. She was raised in Grand Valley by her grandparents Mark and Eva Lamb. She had worked at Sylvania, GG Green’s, the Rouse Home, Norton’s Mill Lumber Co. and retired after 26 years at Blair Corp.

Lucy loved camping, canoe trips and Christmas. She loved the summer time, the warmer the better. She was a Nascar fan and of course her favorite driver was Earnhardt. She was a life member of the VFW in Tidioute Auxiliary , the Sugar Grove AmVet’s Auxiliary and the Warren American Legion Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her loving husband Harold (Baldy) Lewis on March 12, 2009, two sisters; Bonnie Kridler, and Beverly Birchard a grandson Tyler Lewis and a great granddaughter Tehya Turner.

Lucy is survived by her four children: Tom (Sue) Brown and Tina Myers , both of Jamestown, Terrie (Ritchie) Lee of Warren, Kellie Bierce of Warren, 2 stepsons, Doug and Terry Lewis of Tidioute and a very special grandson, Michael (Mellisa) Brown of Youngsville. Aslo surviving are grandson’s, Justin Wilcox, Ben Perrin, Casey (Cassie) Brown, Dustin Turner, Brandon and Dylan Lewis, grand-daughters, Samantha, (Brett) Jewart, Amanda Brown, Kara Latta, Kalene (Tyler) Saulsgiver, great grandchildren: Drake Brown, Jaydee Wilcox, Alex, Austin, Conner, and Cadance Jewart, Lily Devore, Arrianna, Angie Sara, Kaylee, Ellie, Kyra Brown, Carson, Penelope, Alani, Ialee, Casey Jr, and a great great granddaughter, Ella, four brothers: Bill (Sis), Bernie (Janet), Virgil and Bob Vanguilder, seven sisters: Geneva (Mike) Baker, Brenda (Pete) Savitz, Barb (Larry) Johnson, Bridget (Tim) Stec, Beth Birchard and Ruth (Dave) Extein, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Youngsville Free Methodist Church 179 Davis St. in Youngsville. A funeral Service will be held there on Wednesday at 11 am and burial will follow in the West Hickory Cemetery.
