James Warren Wiles

James Warren Wiles, 62, of 10 East Harmar St., War-ren Pa., passed away unex-pectedly in Pasadena, Md., on Sept 9, 2020 — taken from us too soon.

James “Jim or Jimmy” was born on Nov 25, 1957 in Butler Pa., the son of Robert and Bertha Wiles. He worked at various job in-cluding working alongside his parents in the family butcher shop but was most proud of obtaining his CDL license and driving truck. Jim was the loving son of Bob and Becky Wiles and stepped up to become their primary caregiver when Bob had a heart attack in March 2016. Although Jim had his struggles in life, he had a heart of gold, would give you the shirt off his back and loved kidding around with people. Jim was married to Ruth McDonald from 1983-86. Jim’s proudest moment was when his son James Brian Wiles was born Dec 7, 1983. His next proudest moments were when his three grand-daughters: Katelynn, Emily and Chloe were born. Jim helped watch his grand-daughters when James and Aimee were working.

Jim was a member of Pleasant Volunteer Fire Company for several years, and a life member of St John’s Lutheran Church and volunteered at the church cutting the lawn.

He is survived by his fa-ther, Robert “Bob” Wiles; his son, James Wiles and his daughter-in-,law, Aimee; his three granddaughter: Ka-telynn, Emily and Chloe and his five brothers and sisters Bill Wiles and Chris Picker-ing Wiles; Ruby Wiles Shaw and Steve Shaw, Steve Wiles and Nickki Ditonto Wiles, Tina Wiles Jones and Don; Stan Wiles and Lisa Harris-on Wiles and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held for Jim Wiles at St John’s Lutheran Church, 200 Pleasant Dr,, Warren Pa., on Sept. 19 from 10 a.m.-1p.m., with funeral ser-vices from 11 a.m.-noon, with Pastor Jeffery Ewing officiating.
