James A. Logren

James was born Oct. 8, 1940, to the late John A. and Eliza Rounds Logren. James entered the U.S. Army after his schooling and was a steelworker for Inter Royal Deluxe Metal for 33 years until his retirement. He had also worked for Whirley Industries, Pelegrino Foods and Betts Industries. He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 135. James enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He loved spending time with his family and would glow when it came to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

James is survived by his wife, Elizabeth R. Suppa Logren, whom he married in 1966 in Warren, Pa.; two sons: James Logren Jr. and wife, Kate and Joseph Logren; one daughter, Barbara Logren; four sisters: Martha Irene Boroughs and husband George, Anne Harkins and husband Jim, Eva Hoffman and husband, Gary, and Mary Battko and husband, Many; one brother, Clarence “Bucky” Bucchanan and wife, Peggy; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, all of Warren, Pa.

James was preceded in death by his parents.
