Charles Lee Scott

Charlie was born June 15, 1948, in Warren, Pa. He was the son of Iilo and A. Faye Ackley Scott. After graduation from Youngsville High School, he went on to become an accomplished mechanic and auto body repair technician. Owning garages in three different states. In his offtime Charlie was a true lover of outdoors. A lifelong hunter and angler as well as a patient observer of the natural world. In his youth, Charlie was an accomplished race car driver in his own right, competing at all local tracks including state line and Eriez speedways and won a special many hour enduro at Bradford, Pa.

He is survived by his two children: Charles J. Scott of Oklahoma City, Okla, and Faye E. Smith and husband, Dusty; his eldest brother, James Scott and wife, Jean of Garland, Pa.; four grandchildren: David, Devon, Daniel and Elijah; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Joanne Merle Scott, Lorraine Gay Scott Stover and Marcelyn Faye “Marcy” Scott White.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East St., Warren, Pa., on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where full CDC guidelines will be enforced, masks and social distancing, please enter via front porch door in order to regulate 50 person limitation at all times.

A funeral service will be conducted at Charlies’ sister home, 3181 Sanford Road, Pittsfield, Pa.. on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Ralph Culp, former pastor of Sanford United Methodist Church, officiating. Please dress appropriately as service will be outside.
