Bernice M. Westley

Bernice M. Westley, 95, of Warren, Pa., formerly of Kamp Street and Cambridge Warren, passed away Sept/ 16, 2020, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House.

Bernice was born Nov. 1, 1924, in Jamestown, N.Y., the daughter of the late Carl and Bertha Jenckel Gilbraith.

She was a 1943 graduate of the Jamestown High School and was employed at Marlin Rockwell for many years making ball bearings.

Bernice was an avid Pirates fan, who did not miss many games. She enjoyed baking for family and friends, and crocheting. Ber-nice especially loved her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters: Lorraine Bell and husband, Ronald of Youngsville, Pa., and Shirley Ander-son and husband, Donald of Jamestown, N.Y; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on Aug.18, 2010, by her husband, Paul J. Westley, whom she married Oct. 19, 1947; and two sisters: Alberta Gilbraith and Sarah Ring.

Friends and family will be received at the Peterson- Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, on Monday, Sept. 21, from 2-4 p.m.

A memorial service will be held there at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Marcus Briggs, re-tired chaplain, officiating.

Inurnment will be in the Warren County Memorial Park.
