Thomas A. Fadale

Thomas A. Fadale, 78, of Clarendon, Pa., died at his residence surrounded by his family, Thursday morning, Aug. 6, 2020.

He was born July 4, 1942 in Warren, Pa. He was the son of Santo “Sandy” and Rose M. Bevevino Fadale.

Tom was a lifelong Warren area resident. He was a 1960 graduate of Warren High School. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, where he was once the youngest in Warren County to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. He had served with the U.S. Army as a specialist fifth grade, during the Vietnam War. He was owner and operator of the former Pennco Furnace and Penn24, retiring in January 2019. He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 4th degree member of the Warren Knights of Columbus and their bowling league. He served as an officer and was a member of the Kalbfus Club. He was an avid hunter. Tom’s greatest gift in his life was his family. He was the ultimate family man with a beautiful spirit, right to the end. He was a teacher and mentor to many of his family members.

Tom is survived by his wife of 56 years, Roxie Sasserson Fadale, whom he married July 11, 1964, at St. Luke’s Church, Erie, Pa.; three children; Sean Fadale and wife, Stephanie of Hamilton, N.Y., Kirsten Fadale Darling and husband, Christopher, Eric Fadale and wife, Alice, all of Warren, Pa.; three siblings: Michael J. Fadale and wife, Julie of Clarendon, Pa., Cynthia Weakland and husband, Rick of Burdette, N.Y., and Mary Phillips and husband, Jeff of Warren, Pa.; seven grandchildren; Joseph Thomas “JT” Fadale, Colin Fadale, Kelsey Fadale, Madeline Fadale, Emma Darling, Ian Darling and Jack Darling; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at St. Joseph Ro,am Catholic Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, Pa., on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., when a Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1 p.m., with Father Richard Tomasone, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, where full military honors will be conducted by members of the Clarendon/Sheffield Veterans of Foreign Wars Funeral Honor Guard and the U.S. Army personnel.
