Leslie R. Gourley

He was born on May 12, 1944. in Jamestown, N.Y., to the late Raymond and Dorothy (Sheldon) Gourley. Leslie worked on his family farm in Sugar Grove for most of his life. He then moved to Troopsburg, N.Y., where he logged for a number of years until his health declined and he moved to Youngsville to be with family. He was a man of many trades and could repair anything. He enjoyed fishing, animals, especially horses and gardening. He was also a great storyteller.

Leslie is survived by his sister, Darlene Goodman of Youngsville, Pa.; his nephews: Frank Goodman, and Leslie (Tammy) Goodman; a niece, LaVonne (Mike) Carpenter, as well as several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Leslie was preceded in death by his niece, Lisa Jackson; and his great-nephew, Leonard Ecker.

No services will be held at this time.
