Frank Shrefler

He was born May 26, 1955, in Ridgway, Pa., to Frank M. and Priscilla Moline Shrefler.

Frank was a resident of Clarendon, Pa., for the past 46 years. He was employed at the Barnhart-Davis Napa store as a salesman for over 40 years. He was an avid fisherman. Frank was an accomplished musician and singer in numerous bands, he especially enjoyed playing guitar. He was a car enthusiast and hotrodder. He had owned numerous cars including a 1957 Chevy.

Frank is survived by his wife, Sheila Check Shrefler, whom he married Jan. 26, 1974, in Clarendon, Pa.; three children: Cecilia Penfield of Wilcox, Pa., Todd A. Shrefler, (Leslie) of Barnes, Pa., and Mandy Fitzgerald (Michael) of Clarendon, Pa.; four brothers: Larry Shrefler (Marcheta) of Edinboro, Pa., Gary Shrefler (Carol) of Pittsburgh, Pa., Jerry Shrefler (Sherri) of Kersey, Pa., and Mike Shrefler (Bridgette) of Ridgway, Pa.; two sisters: Lori Hokeneski (Kevin) of Ridgway, Pa., and Becky Larkin of Chincoteague Island, Va.; mother-in-law, Katherine “Kate” Check and sister-in- law, Caroline Logan (Larry), all of Clarendon, Pa., nine grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Meals.

A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East St., Warren, Pa., with Father Stephen Shreiber, [astor of Holy Redeemer Church, officiating. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
