Jeanne Soliday

Jeanne C. Soliday, 90, of Pittsfield entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the Rouse Home in Youngsville. Born May 13, 1929, in Warren, she was the daughter of the late A. Wenzel and Iva Snyder Anthony. She was a graduate of the class of 1947 of Warren High School and attended Temple University in Philadelphia for nurses training. She married Jack E. Soliday on Feb 14, 1958, who preceded her in death on September 7, 2006. Jeanne was employed for 19 years at Sylvania in Warren and also worked at Saegertown Components for several years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Youngsville, later attending Otterbein United Methodist Church in Pittsfield. Jeanne loved nature and especially birds. She was a remarkable woman who has left wonderful memories for all of her children and grandchildren that they will cherish forever.

Surviving are 3 sons, Michael (Nancy) Soliday of Pittsfield, Patrick (Earlyn) Soliday of Warren and Wenzel A. (Tina) Soliday of Newport News,VA; 2 daughters, Emily (Randall) Boone of Richmond, VA and Aimee (George) Lawson of Warren; 10 grandchildren: Wenzel P. (Susan) Soliday, Wendy (William) Gray, Heidi (Timothy) Farrel, Julie (Michael) Arsenault, Debbie Flynn, Timothy Soliday, Mercedes Boone, Breanna Spain, Bryce Spain, and Brett Spain; 13 great-grandchildren, Robin, Nathan, Abigal, Gavin, Austin, Lea, Alesandria, Brighton, Kendell, Noah, Cohen, Merin and Asher; and 1 niece and 1 nephew. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Ramsey; 2 grandsons, Zachary and Daniel Boone in infancy and a great-grandson, Jacob Arsenault.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Riverside Cemetery in Pittsfield.
