Harry Haskins

Harry Lee Haskins, 78, of Russell, Pa. passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at his daughter’s residence in Russell, Pa, following a lengthy illness. Harry was born on October 16, 1941 in Bradford, Pa. to Gilbert and Eleanor (Cahill) Haskins. Harry was a 1959 graduate of Warren Area High School and worked at the Pine Grove Cemetery as a caretaker, and later worked for PennDOT from which he retired in 2007. Harry enjoyed his family, having breakfast with his coworkers, liked to drive, and time on his backhoe as an independent contractor. Harry loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. Harry is survived by his wife Nancy Enos Haskins, who he married in 1978, his children, Donna (David) VanOrd of Anchorage AK, Diane (Jeff) Zaffino of Warren, Denise Whitmore and companion John Stewart of Russell, Keith Haskins of Russell, Daniel Haskins of Warren and Tim (Vivian) Hillyard of Youngsville; three brothers Jim (Susan) Haskins, Bill (Debbie) Haskins both of Scandia, and Bob (Lynn) Haskins of Elmira NY; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Ronald Haskins. Friends will be received from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, Pa 16365. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon with The Rev. Carly Moore, associate pastor of the Wiltsie Community Church. Burial will follow in the Clendenning Cemetery, Russell, Pa.
