Carol Hart

Carol Molander Siefert Hart, 88, of Warren, PA, went to her heavenly home on Friday, January 24, 2020, at the Rouse Home.

She was born on April 8, 1931, in Dunkirk, NY, to the late Ralph D. and Inez Cederquist Siefert.

She graduated from Warren High School in 1949. She was a member of the Emanuel United Church of Christ, Warren PA and was active until moving to the Rouse Home. She had been a consistory member and was member and past President of the EUCC Triangle Class and was the treasurer for the Sunday School. She had also volunteered delivering “Meals on Wheels” and was a volunteer making early morning calls at the Senior Center “AreYouOkay?” Program. This was after she retired from the New Process Company after 25 years. and was proud to have received a watch. In her school days she won the Warren County Spelling Bee. She was known by both her family and friends as a very caring, loving person, with a sweet personality, wearing a smile on her face, at all times.

She is survived by her loving sons Garry (Mary) Hart of Casa Granada, AZ; Jonathan Hart of St. Mary’s PA and Jeffrey Hart of Midlothian VA. Also surviving are nieces June Holmes, Julie (Matt) Greenman, Mary Jane (Edward) Okruch; nephews Donald Hart, William Hart, Bradley (Laraine) Siefert and Scott (Christine) Siefert. Cousins Keith (Ann) Reynolds, William Quackenbush, Jeannie Swigert, Rev. Beth Siefert, Ann Anderson, Gretchen Andrews, and John (Maria) Siefert, Patty Spampinato, Ellen Grace, Charles Quigley, Susan Artico, Sally Beckwith, Thomas Martin, sisterinlaw Sally Siefert and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Leland (Curley) Hart in 1991, after 38 years of marriage, her brother Rev. Neil D. Siefert in 2017 and brothersinlaw Donald Hart and Kenneth Hart.

Family and Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 10 AM12 PM, at the Emanuel United Church of Christ, 1710 Pennsylvania East, Warren, PA 16365, at which time a funeral service will be held there at 12:00 pm with the Rev. Marcus Briggs and Scott Siefert coofficiating, followed by a luncheon.

A private burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Warren, PA.
