Susan Irene Jordan, 69, of Danville, California, and formerly of Pittsfield, Pennsylvania, passed away November 7, 2019, at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Walnut Creek CA after a strong and courageous battle against lung disease. She was the daughter of Lillian Giltinan Jordan Hopes of Youngsville, PA, and the late Howard Emery Jordan.
Susie had a beautiful and peaceful spirit that could be felt by everyone around her. She loved animals, especially horses and her dog, Henry. Although a California girl for many years, she always kept the Pennsylvania girl spirit. She opened her heart to everyone around her and she will be deeply missed.
Susie is survived by her mother, Lillian of Youngsville, PA, daughter Kristen and son-in-law Greg Heiden, grandchildren Jordan and Harlow, their dog Juno, all of Danville. They loved her more than the moon and the stars. She is also survived by her sister Linda Jordan Loomis (George) of Pittsfield, brothers Doug (Kim) Jordan and Mike (Marge) Jordan both of Jamestown, NY. Nieces and nephews, Annie Jordan, Jason Jordan, and Jessica Jordan Klemens and their children Zoe, Lorelai, Sophie, and Nathan.
Susie is also survived by her very special dog, Henry, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

According to Sesame Street’s website, “It started 50 years ago-a colorful community of monsters, birds, grouches, and humans. A place where everyone counts.” Sesame Street has been a positive influence in so many lives and has helped build a strong early literacy foundation for generations of children.
