Loretta May Goodard, 82, of Warren, PA., died Thursday morning, August 22, 2019, at Warren Manor Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born January 9, 1937 in Warren, PA. Loretta was the daughter of Neil and Mabel Gustafson Rhodes. She was a lifelong Warren area resident and a 1955 graduate of Warren High School. Loretta was employed with the former G.C. Murphy Company, Deluxe Metal, Quality Supermarkets and Quaker State Oil. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Richard Goodard and wife, Mary of Warren, PA., 3 Grandchildren–Kevin, Craig and Emily Goodard, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin “Bud” Goodard, 3 Sisters Mabel Martin, Mary “Dusty” Stites, Lois Smith.
Friends may call on Sunday, August 25, 2019, from 1 to 2 p.m. when a funeral and committal service will be conducted at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. with Rev. Dale Haight, officiating. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through Warren Public Library Association or American Diabetes Foundation.
