Katherine Knisley

Katherine was born January 7, 1933 in Warren, a daughter to the late Stephen and Gladys (Thomas) Chambers. She loved spending time with her family and her pets. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, country westerns, her cow collection and her “fancy work”.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years William Knisley Jr. Together, they raised seven children, Gladys Frank, Nancy Hicks, Carol Boyer, William (Sally) Knisley, Ruth (Brent) Long, Edna Vansile and James (Yong) Knisley, her siblings, Richard Chambers and Donald (Helen) Chambers, a sisterinlaw, Marie Chambers, a brotherinlaw, Archie Britton, 30 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, a few great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Margaret Britton, Buster Chambers, Stephen Chambers, and Paul Chambers.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St. in Youngsville from 11 am till 1 pm, at which time a funeral service will be held there. Burial will be in Warren Co. Memorial Park.
