Andrew Confer

He was born June 27, 1963 in Warren, Pa., a son of Andrew L. and Betty A. Rennacker Confer of Grand Valley, Pa.

Boomer was raised and educated in the Youngsville area and graduated from Youngsville High School in 1982. Following school, he worked in the oil fields for his father’s business, Confer Fuel and Service, for many years. Boomer later worked for Enervest LLC in the oil and gas fields as a well tender. Boomer was very close to his father, he was his best friend. They enjoyed eating breakfast together every Saturday morning.

He enjoyed shooting pistols with his wife, wildlife photography, fishing, and his dogs, Lucy and Frankie.

Boomer was preceded in death by his fatherinlaw, Paul Bean and grandmotherinlaw Charlotte Black.

In addition to his parents, Boomer is survived by his wife, Paula T. Bean Confer, whom he married September 13, 2008 in Youngsville, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Samantha Saylor and her husband Chad of Las Vegas, NV.; a son, Devon Wertz of Pittsfield, Pa.; and two sisters, Linda Confer and Kate Baker and her husband Randy all of GrandValley, Pa.; his motherinlaw, Kathy Bean of Pittsfield, Pa.; and sisterinlaw, Jolene Romanosky and her husband Mike also of Pittsfield.

He is also survived by four nieces, Jessica Confer, Brittany Renwick, Stephanie Sellen and Vanessa Romanosky; a nephew, Merrik Romanosky and many greatnieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa., on Monday from 1 pm until the time of the memorial service there at 3 pm.
