Laura E. Finlan

Laura E. Finlan, 90, formerly of the Old Pittsfield Road passed away at Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Warren Manor. Born in Warren on January 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William and Louise (Mourer) Crippen. She was married to Richard Finlan who preceded her in death in 1988. Laura was a homemaker who enjoyed her solitude, crossword puzzles, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Youngsville. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mildred (Ernie) VanHouten of Yankee Bush Road, Warren and Margo (John) Firestack of Alaska; 2 sons, David (Lynn) Finlan of Yankee Bush Road, Warren and Gary (Cheri) Finlan of Titusville; 1 sister, Bernice (Dave) Close of Youngsville; 12 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren, 4 greatgreat grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Benedict and 2 brothers, George Crippen and Claude Crippen. Friends are invited to call on Friday, May 24th from 11 12 at McKinney Funeral Homes , 54 West Main Street in Youngsville where a funeral and committal service will follow at 12 noon with Rev Jeff Canter officiating.
