William Smead, Jr.

William Frank Smead, Jr., 43, of Sheffield, passed away Tuesday evening April 16, 2019 at Warren General Hospital, Born August 14, 1975. He was the son of William Frank Smead Sr and Marie Wagner. He was previously employed as a laborer in the oil fields. His past times were hunting and fishing but he especially likes collecting rocks. He was of the Methodist Faith. Besides his parents he is survived by three sons William (Willy) Haley, William Frank Smead III, and Devon Fredrick Prechtly, and one daughter Derinda Hayden Mimm. Two sisters April Dawn Jones and Crystal Marie Triplett both of North Carolina. Also surviving are numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces and, nephews. The family will welcome friends and family on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at the Sheffield United Methodist Church from 11am to 12 noon. Services will follow at 12 with Pasty Bartholomew officiating. Burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield.
