Vera Jean Lauger

Vera was born October 24, 1922 in Youngsville to the late Ralph and Agnes (Rudolph) Whiteman. She enjoyed quilting and gardening and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Lauger and her 7 siblings.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Keith Lauger of Pittsfield, Donald (Gayle) Lauger of Ashville, NY, and Richard (LouAnn) Lauger of Youngsville, 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 314 N. Main St. in Youngsville on Friday April 26th, from 46 pm. The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Wrightsville Vol. Fire Dept. 1440 Bull Hill Rd. Pittsfield, Pa. 16340. Condolences to the family may be made at nelsonfuneralhome.net.
