Renda Nicklas
Renda Nicklas, 76, of Warren, and formerly of Marienville Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, Feb 28, 2019.
Renda was born October 27, 1942, in James City, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late William and Nevada MacAurthur Dunkle. She was a graduate of Kane High School and was formerly employed by Allegheny Buffalo China and Stackpole Industries of Kane. She was a member of Pleasant Community Church. Renda enjoyed solitaire on the computer, serving as a volunteer at the Snyder Memorial Home in Marienville, and the Warren Manor. She enjoyed taking many photos, she enjoyed family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Renda is survived by three children, Richard L. Clevenger Jr., of Warren, Brenda Clevenger Howard and husband Wally, of Hazel Hurst, PA, and Benjamin Clevenger and his wife Kristin, of Hermitage, PA; one sister, Donna Gerhart and her husband Manny, of Kane; two brothers, Bill Dunkle of Kane, Richard Dunkle and his wife Diane, of Winter Haven, Fl; two granddaughters, Daleen Howard and Georgi Howard; one great-granddaughter Adriel Dawn Marie Howard; stepchildren, Mark Nicklas, of Fl., Renee Ward, and Elaine Moeller, both of Colorado; seven stepgrandchildren, including Lincoln and Jefferson.
In addition to her parents, Renda was preceded in death on November 28, 2008, by her husband, James Nicklas whom she married on May 16, 1986; four sisters, Emma and Virginia Dunkle, Betty Shaffer, and Ruth Lindsey; and two brothers Elmer and Jack Dunkle.
A Memorial Service will be held at Pleasant Community Church on Monday, March 4, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Mike Poindexter, pastor, officiating.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Pleasant Community Church, 673 Pleasant Drive, Warren, PA.
